Radon Mitigation in Colorado Springs, CO 80910

Purple Mountain Radon was called in for radon mitigation at a home in Colorado Springs, CO 80910, after homeowners noticed fluctuating radon levels, occasionally spiking above 4.0 pCi/L. The split-level home had a garden-level basement with an adjacent crawlspace. The crawlspace had a vapor barrier, but it wasn't sealed properly. Our team sealed the vapor barrier to the walls, dug beneath the slab to create a suction pit, and connected it with perforated pipe under the vapor barrier. We then routed the system through the crawlspace wall and installed the radon fan and exhaust riser outside. Post-mitigation testing showed incredible results: the living room was measured at less than 0.7 pCi/L, and the garden-level basement was at just 0.8 pCi/L.
