This home in Bailey, CO, faced a serious radon issue, with dangerously high levels detected across multiple floors, including unventilated crawlspaces and a basement. This home is a slab on grade. The PVC pipe exiting the wall from the suction point was lined up directly the high efficiency furnace exhaust and fresh air intake. The homeowner had built a small soffit, or box, around the furnace exhaust pipes and he asked if I could line up the radon riser exhaust with the furnace's in order that all pipes can be boxed. We had to put a tight elbow above the fan but were able to get the radon riser through the covered porch where it can be concealed by the box.
